Camel Tour auf der kleinsten der Kanarischen Inseln, La Graciosa! Jürgen hätte seinen Spaß daran gehabt. Nördlich von Lanzarote und mit einer Fähre in einer knappen halben Stunde zu erreichen, liegt La Graciosa. Die kleine Inselhauptstadt erinnert mich sehr stark an eine Wildweststadt, es gibt keine geteerten Strassen, ein paar Häuser und Restaurants. Um die Insel zu erkunden, mieten wir einen Jeep mit Fahrerin und lassen uns über Staubpisten zu den kleinen Highlights bringen. Rauh, schön, einzigartig. Im kleinen Fischerort Playa Pedro Barba machen wir Halt und ich nutze die Gelegenheit, meinen Wanderstein 'Sun of Gran Canaria' hier auf einer Mauer abzulegen. mit Blick auf die Steilküste von Lanzarote und das fast karibischblaue Meer.

La pequeña capital de la isla me recuerda mucho a una ciudad del salvaje oeste, no hay calles asfaltadas, algunas casas y restaurantes. Para explorar la isla, alquilamos un jeep con conductor y nos dejamos llevar a través de pistas de polvo a los pequeños puntos destacados. Áspero, hermoso, único. En el pequeño pueblo pesquero de Playa Pedro Barba nos detenemos y aprovecho la oportunidad para dejar mi piedra de senderismo "Sol de Gran Canaria" aquí en un muro. con vistas a los acantilados de Lanzarote y al mar casi azul caribeño.
Camel tour on the smallest of the Canary Islands, La Graciosa! Jürgen would have enjoyed it. La Graciosa lies North of Lanzarote and can be reached by ferry in just under half an hour. The small island capital reminds me very much of a Wild West city, there are no tarred streets, a few houses and restaurants. To explore the island, we rent a jeep with driver and let ourselves be brought over dust slopes to the highlights. Rough, beautiful, unique.
